  10. 1. ERRORS USING WORDPERFECT 6.1
  11. -------------------------------
  12. If you encounter errors creating documents using Maximizer Personal's
  13. Template file (MAXWP.WPT) with WordPerfect for Windows Version 6.1,
  14. ensure that the program release date is 12/09/94 or later (see the
  15. About dialog in WordPerfect for the program release date). If
  16. necessary, contact Corel to obtain a later patch update.

  19. 2. PERFORMANCE PROBLEMS WITH WORD 6.0/7.0

  21. If you experience very slow response moving around in Maximizer
  22. Personal while a dialog box is active in Word using Maximizer
  23. Personal's Template file (TML_LITE.DOT), edit TML_LITE.INI in your
  24. Windows directory and add DDEAuto=No to the [Misc] section as shown
  25. below:

  30. This will use Cold DDE links instead of Hot links, so when you move
  31. to a different Client in Maximizer Personal you'll have to mark your
  32. merge fields in Word and press F9 to update the links.
